An iconic Canadian treat hailing from Nanaimo, British Columbia - this classic dessert is made of three layers: a chocolate biscuit (usually with coconut, sometimes with nuts and graham crackers, too), a custard layer and a chocolate ganache.
Our take: a house made chocolate coconut shortbread biscuit, a semi sweet ganache with chopped toasted almonds and, of course, a white chocolate custard ganache. All coated in our Belgian milk chocolate.
This delicious piece of Canadian culture is a MUST try.
